Leaving Adelaide

As we are leaving Adelaide tomorrow morning to drive to Melbourne, we got rid of our bikes and most of the keys we had today. Furthermore, we tidied up our desk at the Uni and the organisation we worked in and said godbye to everybody.
We now have to pack our bags again, after 3 months in Adelaide. But we are looking forward to our holiday so that's not too bad!

First draft of whole Bachelor Thesis

Just in time I got my first draft of my Bachelor Thesis ready on our last day in Adelaide!
Now my mentor has 76 pages to look throught. Back in Germany I than can review everything .....
But still, the first version is ready!!!!!

Wicket 1 in the advent calender

Yuhuuu,

Today is the first of December and we all can open the wicket number one in our advent calender. And we will open one for you as well ;)!

We will try to do it each day and show you the christmas-period in Adelaide. As we will be traveling a lot during the next weeks, we are not sure, if we really can open one wicket a day. We will try it, but please don't be sad, if we miss one!

Government House – Adelaide

Today was a day of the open house at the government house in Adelaide. Normally you can only see its fence and the gate, but today we had the possibility to look at the gardens and the government house itself. Besides the temperature, which was pretty hot which 37°C in the shade, it was really really nice. Inside the building are several nice pictures of Great Britain’s kings and queens, nice furniture and for sure, beautiful chandeliers (Kronleuchter). Before we went back to uni to do a little bit of work, we had a nice ice cream in the shadow of a tree and enjoyed the music of a little band in the gardens of the government house!

Beside the fact, that we haven’t enjoyed the good weather the last two days and stayed at work from 7:30 in the morning till 5:30 in the afternoon, we left at 3:00 pm today. It was 31°C! So we decided to buy pizzas and eat them in one of the western park lanes on our way back home.

Hy everybody,

Now Johannes is away for his two days Kangaroo Island Tour (which I did last year) and I am alone for the first time in more than two month As the shops don’t open until 11 I will first do a little bit for my thesis now and then go shopping!

Hello hello

We've got a nice picture for you ... We went to Glenelg (a suburb of Adelaide) where we wanted to lie in the sun and swim a little. Well, we did lie in the sun (it's been around 30°C today); only the water was freezing cold, so we swam only shortly.

Morialta Conservation Park

G'day everybody ...

After a lazy day yesterday we headed to Morialta Conservation Park today. It's funny how many people go there on the weekends. Anyway we got nice weather with pure sunshine and went for a little bit of hiking. On our little trip we had some nice animal encounters

One thing about the Koala, though. Usually they are rather brownish. This one is too (mainly its back), but not as much as the others.
